Scorpion 2021 – USA

2021 eXploder Scorpion, wide beamed version (latest generation). Minimum-weight and fully up to-date, turnkey with a complete measurement certificate. Available for immediate delivery on the U.S East Coast (price negotiable). Trailer not included, but negotiable. Fast boat with a 10th place overall finish at the 2021 Worlds and numerous top 10 finishes in U.S racing.

Full Spec’s:
1) Platform first launched in June 2021, ~40 days of use.
2) Complete 1D sail set, new in September of 2021; ~40 days on the main,
15 days on the jib and 15 light air days on the polyester spinnaker. All sails are white.
3) Complete Robline rigging fit-out, updated over time (new spinnaker halyard/single-line tackline system September 2023, new downhaul September 2023 etc.)
4) 12:1 Ronstan/Frederickson Mainsheet
5) Better than factory new fitout; all hardware was replaced with 316 stainless steel (from factory 18-8 stainless) and the aluminum isolated. Trampoline tie-points replaced with stainless steel spacers instead of plastic (no chafe on the trampoline lacing). Lower daggerboard bearing inserts re-glassed into hull (full tabbed) and bearings re-built to include rubber bumpers (protect daggerboard trailing edge). All work completed in the spring of 2023. Boat has since sailed the NE100 and 2023 North American’s with zero issue.
5) Full yard cover, hull covers, beach wheels, hull chocks (all 2021), rigging bag, beam bags.

A) Landy jib, used 15 days
B) Brand new spare daggerboards, brand new complete spare rudder system.
C) Spare spinnaker pole (new, internal 2:1 tackline).
D) Spare spinnaker hoop and bag
E) Like-new turnbuckle standing rigging (used 5 days in freshwater).
